AFPC is an independent and autonomous association, which has evolved from the need to oversee the entire range of processes associated with card production and use.

EESTEL is an association of independent experts in the field of smart card technologies and electronic transactions, which means to fulfill its mission by offering a complete range of products and services. EESTEL was born in 1998 from the need of large organisations to find full competence, and experience in an entity independent from larger industrial and financial groups. Since then, the association has always been working on major projects (consultancy for payment systems) and delivering products (production test tools) all over the world.

EUROSMART is an international association located in Brussels representing the Voice of the Smart Card Industry for multi-sector applications (created in 1995). The Association is a non-profit organization committed to expanding the world’s smart card market, developing smart card standards and continuously improving quality and security applications. Manufacturers of smart cards, semiconductors, terminals, equipment for smart cards system integrators, application developers and issuers gather and work into dedicated working groups on security, marketing, and communication issues. Through its activities, Eurosmart actively support the development of the smart card business and act as a catalyst and forum for the smart card stakeholders.
